About Seth
Seth Scheving grew up in North Dakota before moving to the Anderson area in 2008 to attend Anderson University. It was during his undergraduate studies that he discovered a passion for watercolor, a medium he has specialized in since 2009. Seth later earned his Master’s in Art Education from Eastern Illinois University, further refining his approach to both his personal practice and his pedagogy.
After spending six years working in graphic design and marketing, Seth transitioned into the classroom, where he now serves as the Art Department Chair at Westside High School. He has also shared his expertise in higher education as an Adjunct Professor at Anderson University.
Seth remains deeply connected to the regional art scene through teaching and community-based projects. He has led courses for both adults and students at the Anderson Arts Center, the Belton Center for the Arts, and the Clemson Arts Center. Over the years, his personal work has been featured in numerous regional galleries and exhibitions.
